A formal rendezvous…
There was no us,
Life’s path divergent,
To separate us,
A connection unfolds…
There was no us,
Affinity in thought,
To think of us,
A nervous hour…
There was no us,
Tentative words,
To dream of us,
A distance between...
There was no us,
Hope prevails,
To be truly us,
A love is born…
We can be us,
Hurdles overcome,
To fight for us,
A future is made…
We breathe as us,
Asleep, awake,
To want for us,
A place called home….
God cared for us,
Together forever,
To die for us,
