Us

From the beginning
We have always been in love
Sharing likely background
Having the same history
Seeing everything from an angle
We laughed together
Cried together
Cuddled in the most lovely green pasture that’s ours and ours alone
Suckled from the breast of Mother Nature

How it began, I still wonder
Why we broke up, I still wonder
Turned your back without a warning
Like a sudden drought after rain
Slicing my heart as you go without a glance

My love, my heart
Our love still runs in my vein
We shared a history, remember?
Without past, future is incomplete
Take us back my love
Let’s go back to the beginning
Take us back to love, peace, trust and perseverance

This is sweet and sad at the same time. Touching writing!
