Upside-Down Side-Up

Smiling, laughing, happy
It is nice not to be sad
Lonely frown turned upside-down
It’s great not being mad

A joke shared with a special friend
That makes you both laugh aloud
Brightens up those rainy days
Shining right through any cloud

Choosing how it is you feel
Is all up to you
Either live being perky
Or die feeling blue

Being cheerful and merry
Is what I choose to be
Spreading laughter with good times
To all I may see
