Upon the Clouds

Upon the clouds,
I lay
Floating, so effortlessly
And as I, look upon the stars,
You reach, to touch me
There, among the lights,
Our eyes meet,
A moment, in time,
We shall remain,
Yet, as I stand here
On the ground,
I am still floating,
In space,
From the wonder
And awe
Of this day,
And as I, try 
To catch my breath,
I realize,
That you are there,
Beside me,
Holding me.
