Up Yours
Mum sat with Luke when Luke was suicidal,
But she never sat with me, and she never heard my thoughts,
Bonded with my ex friends when I made clear they were rivals,
If she’d only took my side she’d have helped with my survival,
But she just did the things she did and treated me entitled,
She followed in the footsteps of ex friends I have no time for,
I told her they manipulate and they said that I lie more,
So she listened to them as they blagged her like a daft whore
Where the cluck was my mum when I desperately cried forth,
Listening to all but me causing me to stay off course,
She should have been on my side and not an opposing force,
You find out who your allies are when battles turn to wars,
They understand your struggles to the root and know the source,
If they just ignored you then you say to them “UP YOURS,
show them to the boundaries edge then lock the gates and doors!!
