Unwritten Poem

If I had you, i'd make you tea every morning
If I had you, I wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen with you
If I had you, i'd hold your hand, gently
If I had you, i'd kiss you goodnight every night
If I had you, i'd sing you songs, maybe even dance
If I had you, i'd stare into your eyes, like a curious child
If I had you, there'd be no need to look at any other
If I had you, i'd want for nothing, and nor would you
If I had you, i'd be happy, and the world could fall apart
If I had you, i'd love you till I had no love left
If I had you, you probably wouldn't read this poem, It wouldn't be written
But I do not have you, and never will, so either way, you'll not see these words that I write
