Unwrap This Tootsie Roll Treat

Take off the wrapper and suck it slow
This sweet chocolate treat
Reach back into the bag look for another
Make sure all the wrappers are left on the floor

Hide as much as you can in your bedroom
Under the bed in the closet or even in
Your pillow case so the grown up’s can’t find it
You only get candy once a year so make it last

Throw your costume on the floor you’ll get a new one
Next year, don’t share with your brothers they will eat it all
Next morning when your tummy is hurting
Take the day off from school make up a good excuse

See you next year make sure your costume is new

Hilarious, Bobby. Even better, I'm still hiding those tootsie roll treats at the tender age of 39! LOL. ~ Gershon

This sounds like it came from the mind of a seven year old boy. What a rare gift you have Bobby.

Happy Halloween, Bobby. I loved this poem. And love Jamie Lee Cutis in Halloween. Am going to get a large bag of Reese's candy...just love those! Panagiota oxox
