Untouchable Love

Anxiously awaiting
For you to arrive
As each moment passes
It gets closer to five

Looking down at the time
For the minute at hand
With slow gentle music
Coming from the band

I then look up
And my breath escapes me
For my eyes are stunned
From the sight that they see

I begin to breathe
From what seemed almost death
Because the sight of you
Could cause my last breath

How fortunate am I?
To see you here
And stand by your side
And call you dear

The scent of our love
Just fills the air
With so many watching
Seems almost unfair

Unfair to the others,
That they may not share
The love from your heart
That I’m willing to bear
