Untouchable

Untouchable

Have you ever watched the one you long for long for another
and tried to ignore the connection between each other?
Trying to keep your distance,
trying not to express too much,
trying not to gaze in their eyes,
trying not to blush.

Do the ones that want you only lust for your body?
Craving to explore the physical
rather than the mental.

Does the one you want simply see a dear friend?
Is the truth unadmitable?
are the conditions getting critical?

Unwanted by the one I long for
and longed for by the unwanted

I am Untouchable

They fill my head with bull,
they’re so easily accessible.
There’s no key to look for
no trail to conquer,
Doesn’t nearly shine like the collectable

I long for.

Like the collectable you are.

Does the one you want give you butterflies
but tends to flutter by?
Before you can give an utter goodbye.

Has this person assisted your connection to the sun?
Has respect for the spirit world,
understands that we are all one.

Unwanted by the one I long for
longed for by the unwanted

I am Untouchable

Maybe in another life we could be
two tangled vines
Intertwined for a rain forest eternity.
Or maybe in a brewery of exotic wines
we could blend into a bottle
and age to the finest of the fine.

Until the day another can catch my eye
Until I find a butter fly that won’t flutter by

I

will

be

Untouchable.

enjoyed the last verses...intertwined...rain Forrest vine...hopefully this person will realize, that soon their looks will lead to demise. And what they wanted, will be misconceived to what they need. Cause after a while, if they keep going they'll be untouchable and unable to feed.
