Untitled Haiku July

untitled HAIKU, July

spring passed in hospital
at home my things sorted in eight trunks —
am I dead?

Kim, well it was, is still. They are piled along the wall and I’m not able yet to go through them. When my m-I-L died I was asked to pack up her things, so these boxes remind me of that. Can’t wait to get well and fix this

Oh my! I hope your health shows great improvement and excitement prevails to finally unpack and get back to normalcy! Nice to meet you too, sweet lady.

Right. I’m still not well enough to unpack them. They sit to my left along the wall, taunting me. Not one of my happier pieces, but it chose this way to get out. Thanks to you, Kim, for comment. It IS happy to meet you.
