Untitled H

My heart’s in the right place so why does it feel so heavy?
My mind’s in a good state so why do I feel the weight of the world upon me?
So many battles to fight; can’t win them all
But I refuse to give up even when I fall
Many trials and tribulations but trusting in him is the key
For I can’t live for no one else just God and me
So when I fall (and I will) I’ll get up
When I cry, I’ll wipe my tears
And even when I’m scared I’ll always face my fears

For I know my strength goes further than my eyes can see
I got another side that I refuse to let someone bring out of me
So when you’re wrong I’ll turn the other cheek
And if you hit that one too the consequences are beyond me
So even though now I’m down and out it won’t be for long
Because my heart plays a melody and I know who’s the composer of that song
The song has a deeper meaning that I will ever know
It’ll help me to always remember that even in battle I’ll never be alone
