Though the highs have their lows And the happiest never remains so Though the tempest surrounds us And evil lurks deep in the dark Wherever they lead you to be In your mind's eye, I pray thee see That as the Sun starts farthest from the West And in the peak of Eve, before She sets Worry not, my dear, of your joy and pain Neither shall cleave thy heart in twain For where your heart is lightest Does heavenly love burn brightest
