You let go of my heart In a dark, uncertain place. A closed coffin That marks the end. Every slow and agonised beat, A reminder of a love never meant to be. You ripped out my soul And brought forth the tears. Made my days feel unwelcome and never-ending, My nights sleepless and haunted by memories.
