Untitled

Staring into your eyes,
you see me as I appear alive.
dead in my skin you sink deep in my veins.
feeling this aching chest pain,
piercing through my so called heart,
I fear that this is a never ending battle in me.
falling towards you in all necessary ways,
I am the fallen one who is captured by you.
torn by my own mercy,
I cry for you to feel it too.
may be you do?
or...
may be you don't?
what you feel is something that’s unseen from my eyes.
they're open though they don't see.
the love-shattered between us,
my heart beats slowly,
I am cold and ruthless,
though you say you want me still.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed New Year.
