Untitled 5-5-05

Lonely girl
Desperate pair of eyes
Walks home the same way everyday
Evading the media’s trap of lies;
Dressed to impress
no one.

Originality;
Her only hobby.
Authors;
Her only friends.
“I’m okay,” she says
Only kidding.
Her room;
Sanctuary.
Isn’t it scary to think about the lives of the lonely?
The Beatles were right.

Once more
She steps out into the world-
Feigned carelessness;
Drowning alone.
