Sometimes I just want to scream
but instead I just start to daydream
I just need to distract my mind
To find happiness of some kind
You pass me by but do not hear
As I pray and beg you to come near
I need a buddy, a best friend
Someone who is there til the end
Not focused on me, not focused on them
but someone there through thick n thin
Someone to make me laugh, make me smile
not someone there temporarily, but for a while
Stay with me always til we die
Don't ever be the reason that I cry
To you I will always be true
You promise me, and I promise too
This kind of friend only exists in a dream
so I'll write poetry instead of scream
To keep my cool I will try
I'll close my eyes and fly
Fly Away into the clear blue sky
Never to return, never seen again
Just start over, try to begin
Begin again, let everything go
