You are making it near impossible
for me to stay,
The situation between us has gotten critical
and I feel that I must walk away.
How in the world are we going to make it
when all seems t be falling apart,
We both cannot keep trying to fake it
because the deceit is only making things hard.
I am so tired of being emotional
and you turning a cold shoulder to me,
You no longer want to listen to my problems
I guess you have grown tired of me.
Between us there is just so much pressure and strain
there is no way we can go on,
We are both causing one another heartache and pain
how could something so right go so wrong?
I feel that all is slipping away
and I am trying so hard to hold on to it,
I do not want to resort to walking away
that is why I am determined to hold on to what is left.
But there is only so much I can take
before I say enough is enough,
All I can do is just pray
that with you I do not fall out of love.
