Untitled

Every time I would think about leaving you
a little vice would tell me to stay,
Giving me the will and strength in wanting to make it through
giving me the faith and belief of a brighter and better day.
Whenever times would seem to be getting too rough
my only instinct was wanting to flee,
And I would feel that I would have had enough
allowing so much of the pain to take over my being.
It would be during those times that I would softly hear
a comforting voice say to me:
"Be strong and hold on to his love which is so dear
keep the faith and continue to believe."
It would then be that little voice that would encourage me
to remain by your side until the very end,
I am then finally able to see
that a love like ours is much too good to end.
