Untitled

Would you just take my hand? I’ve seen that pain before. Please don’t shy away and stay hidden, Behind the darkness of closed doors. That pain I know it, it cuts so deep. Like it came from shattered glass. I will try and help you with those tattered thoughts, Experienced from a difficult past. Let my warmth take away all the cold, You need to just let me in. I will bare all my soul just for you, So you will know I’m not without my own sin. You don’t always have to be the fighter you are, It’s alright to let go and cry. So let my body shelter you for now, We will let this weathered pain now pass you by. Right now I would give you all my strength, Just know that my heart is true. Here I am with outstretched arms, I am calling unto you. Look at the man, who stands before you now, Forever may your eyes be clear. I am here as the one to offer myself. Just call for I am near. Here I am with my heart exposed. It’s open for you to see. To melt away those tired thoughts, With it go all the negative memories. Trust me when I tell you I would never walk away, Especially from you I would rather die. I can be the comfort you search for, Holding you close to me throughout time.
