There are things that are lost,
There are things that have changed,
There are things that dissipate within my brain,
In times I have seen and hoped for more,
Wondering if it'll be a closed door,
Those things that I hope will ignite my soul,
Are the things in which I seem to have no control,
I have known the pain and I have felt the wrath,
Only to hear satan laugh,
You will get not what you want, that has been your path only for me to find humor and laugh,
Love does not want you Love does not care if you are left naked and bare,
I proclaim he is wrong,
I will stand in the light,
I will sacrifice my soul to win this fight,
I have been set afire, I have been set ablaze,
The Love I feel is new these days,
It gives reason to rhyme I hear my soul sing,
I will not give up until she wears my ring,
So be yee warned you have no power here, My Lord & Savior has made that clear.
