Untitled

Cry not Elishah, do not break They glare and frown. Your tormented soul Our Father aches For He sees, Elishah - He knows What you are? Oh still a sweet rose Stare not Elishah. She imitates you Both disgusted, suicidal. Mirrors break Elishah, so turn away Stare only at the heavens You must live another day. Twenty pesos to get some sleep Twenty pesos to eat once a week Twenty pesos for dirty clothes to keep. He sees him laugh and sees you cry He sees him clearly, his hungry eyes He sees the perversion choking his heart And He sees...spirit...slowly die Yet live another day Elishah. Live. For He sees that cross in your pocket Bless…you must live.
