Untitled

I remember back in the day in elementary school when crushes, puppy love didn’t go by adult rules He’d say the worst of you He’d tease and hit And it only got worse If you threw a fit He’d make your life miserable Push you around a lot It was a disguise for his feelings He didn’t want to get caught Now I’m in my big girl relationship But I find the same is true that big boys still will hit and pick on you Though he’ll say that he likes me He can’t show how much He has to be macho, the big “MAN” and such I hated those childish games So I tried to grow up really fast And now I’m stuck in what is now my future When all I want is my past
