Until You Try

You don't think about the sun, Until there's snow. You don't think about light, Until It's burning low. You don't think about the ocean, Until you're in the sand. You don't think about the boy, Until he is a man. You don't think about getting HIGH, Until your stash is low. You hang on, When you should have let go. You don't think about a lie, Until you know the truth. You don't dislike being old, Until you need your youth. You don't hate hello, Until she says goodbye. You want to smile, But you can only cry. You don't think about the night, In the light of day. You don't miss the words, When there is nothing to say. You don't think about her, Until your alone. You don't think of the Maiden, Until you see the crone. You don't think about driving, Until you have to walk. You don't think about silence, When you need talk. You don't think about heat, Until your cold. You should of held the cards, Instead, you fold. You don't think about walking, Until you run. You don't think about violence, Until you need a gun. You don't think about god, Until you die. You don't think to quit, Until you try. Turbo1904
