Until That Day

I close my eyes and there you are
Like an angel who is calling me from a far
 I see your outstretched hand
Your eyes promise me a better land
I’m lost here in loneliness that is so hard to bear
Why oh why can’t I be with you there
Why must I walk through this live without you here
I need to feel you with me now and here
A memory is all I have to cling to until the time
When I can see you again in another time
But for now I close my eyes
And you are holding me tight
Happy together is what we will be
 When that day can be
When this dream becomes a reality
