Until It Was Time

UNTIL IT WAS TIME

I sometimes see you in my dreams
It still hurts but less it seems
Yeah, not as much as it used to
But you’re still comin’ through

I know these things take their time
I know love just doesn't die
But when “in-love” goes away
Sometimes “I love you” Stays

I could see you - changin’ too
As you tried to keep it deep inside of you
You fought feelings over time
Sheltered us and made it all “just fine”
You held the line – until it was time

But in the end it took its toll
On both of our fearful souls
 Your heartfelt good-bye
Still haunts on quiet nights

I could see you - changin’ too
As you tried to keep it deep inside of you
You fought feelings over time
Sheltered us and made it all “just fine”
You held the line – until it was time

I could see you - changin’ too
As you tried to keep it deep inside of you
You fought feelings over time
Sheltered us and made it all “just fine”
You held the line – until it was time

You held the line
Until it was time
