Until Angels Close My Eyes

I shudder at the thought of losing you
And cry at the scene of your grave
When I think of you
I remember all the happy times we shared.

Even though I know you shall not play
Down here on earth again
The memories still live on
In my heart, mind, and soul.

I know I won't see you again in this lifetime
But I know I will when the angels close my eyes.

Even though you lay
Beneath the cold, cold ground
You still live on in me.

Goodbye for now, my dear friend
For I will see you again
When the angels close my eyes.

Great poem Hannah, when life continues on the flip side, What we love now we get to keep, for life is love in action. Sincerely, Moses
