Untended; the Intro
Untended; the intro
By no means chance, an act of God
Circumstances not so good still we have to dance
Sown by those mired in poverty and pain
So the ignorance grows, it's unfortunate
Denied a chance to transcend it
A garden of the cultures soul remains untended
If the progenitors know so little of the truth
How in the world can they teach?
Content to do without any desire for a better way
Ambition, never born or raised, a goal not set to reach
Overgrown by the weeds of the world
Another day of life and no one cares enough
To attempt and show the way
A broken thing, never to be mended a soul grows darker
Is this what the creator intended, the light is lost
A joy never felt by a garden left untended.
