Unspoken Words

Words that have never been spoken,
Words that are broken,
Hidden emotions
 Like a frozen ocean,

A bird with no wings,
A singer that doesn't sing
Silent words,
A dark world
A mystery
Filled with misery,

Echoing screams,
Nothing is what it seems,
Like a rainbow darkening the sky
Like an eye that doesn’t cry,

A crying star
Abandoned and far
Crying its own light
In the middle of the night
It’s becoming dark
A star with no spark,

Screaming for salvation
Lost in a web of imagination
Sadness holding your soul
Wandering in life with no goal,

Timid words filling hearts
Tearing them apart
These words are unspoken
They’re broken
They’re hidden
They’re forbidden,

Unspoken words
Are like birds
They fly away from their tree
But when the days come
There they’ll be…
