Unspoken Words

Unspoken Words
April of 2008

I know you would love to tell me
all the things that you feel
But before you do, you got to decide
what is fake and what is real

Our memories are so distorted
We wonder if they are only dreams
The pain hurts deeper
With no one to hear out screams

There are so many things
That you will have to learn in this life on your own
You see, id like to be there with you
So you are never alone

You are never going to find yourself
If you keep hiding behind your pain
So much could be different
There is so much you would gain

Im not your enemy
I could be your best friend
Id be there if you’d let me
Id be there til the end

Take it how you will
But I speak from my heart
I want you to know that I love you
And I hurt cuz we are apart

Sally I see that you wrote this poem a long time ago, I do hope time has healed the hurt and that you are no longer apart. Near or far children are always safe in their mother’s heart… Belle

again, i hate to admit this, but unfortunately i never had the chance to rectify all of that. it still hurts every day. the only way i make it, is music, my writings, my paintings, drawings and my dog Carly Jo.... i mentioned in a comment to you earlier, about not writing outside myself. talking to you now, just inspired me to write about her as i am her.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

you are welcome. ive been writting for over 20 years and i basically still have at least 75% of it. the first poem i ever put online was in a 10000 poetry contest. anyway, the website name has momentarily left my brain. lol. anyways, i put , what i thought was my very best poem on there and a couple weeks later it was gone. then 15 years later, i researched it and it was a scam. i suppose just to steal peoples work or im sure there was some greatest big plan behind it all. i dont understand it but i was afraid to share anymore. but thank the lord above i found poetry soup and i geel secure and confident in sharing on here. all of that to say, some of the poems i post are from some time ago but just as well you will see some work from now. i thank you for your kind words. they mean alot to me because i only really share on here. i dont even talk to anyone about my real feelings. so again thank u and god bless. i look forward to reading yours.
