Unspoken Love
The pain of love that's unspoken;
When true love's bonds are unbroken.
My muse, my beauty, my heavenly dream;
Bringing more than this life could ever seem.
Too shy, too weak, never too bold;
I loved her and she thought I was cold.
A look at her made me feel I could fly;
Losing her made me wish I would die.
I see her again and my feelings still surge;
Those overwhelming young feelings I never could purge.
I reach for her, but for us it's too late;
We've made our decisions to seal this life's fate.
She sees her ending, she sees her sunset;
Leaving pains and my life's greatest regret.
Dulcinea, Juliet, those fictional names;
Could never match up to my real life dame.
So, son, if for you, it isn't too late;
You haven't yet seen your soul in someone else's face.
Please listen to me and let love from its shell;
Don't repeat my mistake and damn your future to hell.
