Unspoken
Unspoken
I thought this time was different.
It was all the same.
I wonder where it all went.
Tell me why heart still raced at the sound of your name?
Did it even matter?
Broken.
Unspoken.
Nothing left.
Like a thief in the night,
Where's my next breath?
I'm trying to trace my steps.
Where's the sunlight?
Irony.
It laughed at me.
Mocked me.
Shocked me.
Blocked me.
Unnerving.
Undeserving.
Broken.
Unspoken.
Nothing left.
Like a thief in the night,
Where's my next breath?
I'm trying to trace my steps.
Where's the sunlight?
Don't deceive me then pretend you believe me.
I won't let myself get too far.
I'm still reaching for my favorite star.
Unbroken.
Spoken.
There's something left.
No more thieves in the night.
I found my next breath.
I've retraced my steps.
I can see the sunlight.
