I don't know. I always liked: 'Idle hands are the devil's workshop.' (I've actually seen that on a couple of signs in the last 10 years). ~ Different Strokes for Different Folks

Thanks, Andrea. I'm afraid it is all too true, and I am sorry it is true. That's where we should see the soundest theology.

We passed the famous “Go to church or the devil will get you!” sign outside of Birmingham on the way home from the beach yesterday. That one gets shown a lot nationally, and it always reminds me of the underwood deviled ham logo

(chuckling) For many years I collected "church signs," and often used them as illustrations in sermons and Bible study sessions, Jeff. It always amazed me that, many times, trained pastors would put such rubbish like that up in a sign in front of their church. Go figure!
