Birds are not the only ones; it was sixty degrees on Christmas Eve in Kansas and 56 degrees on Christmas day! My six-year-old grandson Max came over wearing shorts.

Yep, it was shorts-wearing weather here, too. And some people deny the climate is changing. Seems pretty evident to me.

You must be going north, Kim, for that is about the only area (well, maybe northwest, too) where a white Christmas is predicted.

I do not know if my neighbour was joking with me or not when he told me that he remembers summers so hot that the birds were dropping dead onto the pathways because their blood got so overheated. I can understand the bird's confusion. I don't like hot weather either it makes me irritable and more confused than ever.
