Unrestrained Anger
Sometimes, love is no match for unrestrained anger,
normal boundaries get stretched to breaking.
Rage takes control,
and you let it.
Your teeth bare down, locked in a menacing grimace,
your pulse races and your muscles quiver.
It happens quickly; there's no time to think;
instantaneously, reflex instincts engage.
When your friends try to placate you,
why do you rebuff their attempts?
Losing your cool,
you act insane.
