Notes About The Poem

Unrequited Love

I’ve tried to make this love thing work,
But I think I'm loosing out.
You want me to love you In a whisper,
While my heart wants to shout.

Shout from the highest mountain.
For all the world to hear.
I love you morning noon and night,
I love you far and near

Sometimes I think you love me,
You act like you really care.
And just when I start enjoying it,
It seems to disappear.

I think you’re playing with my heart,
And you know that isn’t fair.
Don’t turn your back on real true love,
Or when you need it, it won’t be there.

Some true words you have penned about unbalanced love...my fav line: you want me to love you in a whisper...
