Unnoticed
When you drown in your sorrows,
Thinking, I don't want to live for tomorrow.
When you pass by a kid with their Dad,
Thinking, that's something I never had.
In and out of mental hospitals,
Sinking in the deep mud puddles.
When you sit alone in the corner,
As they just figure you're a loner.
Misunderstood,
Never to be heard.
Picking people out on the street,
Wondering if they have the same prints as your feet.
Looking in the mirror, wondering who's the reflection,
A radar burning through the skin for detection.
Only to leave scars,
Across the tops of the arms.
Blades falling upon the ground,
Not to be found.
The unnoticed,
Was the reason life went out of focus.
