Unnatural Colour

Unnatural colour The littered path is full of colour today A bag of BBQ crisps ripped apart as if the consumer couldn't wait to taste. A crushed can of beer glistening through the opening of the tree. The sun is shining bright today, I can even see a bee flying toward an unfinished bottle of Pepsi. A squirrel leaps toward a packet of sweets adding to the collection of colours I greet. A silver casing for a pie but not just any pie it's beef and onion. Plastic bags glimmering behind the bushes and trees, every step I take a new shade of the bags explode into sight. I don't know why I ventured down here today, it always makes me sad to see nature this way. Danielle Golding.
