Unlocked Doors

Life has no bounds Yet we seem to bind ourselves. Life has no restraints yet we are contained. Why do we lock our hearts and souls. Why do we bury our hopes and fears. Can we stop hiding behind our masks. Can we stop holding our heads in our hands. It seems so hard to free ourselves, from all of those invisible bonds. Yet freedom is so near the door unlocked, our path so clear. We just need to look beyond our fears. ©K.Chun 1996
