Unlock My Cage

My fear was found but now it’s lost;
Carried it too long, a lot of things inside me it cost.
Trying to move forward and leave my empty soul behind;
Never trying to rewind vanished and wasted time.
These eyes of mine couldn’t see freedom forever;
It only saw a life full of endless and forsaken never.
I called it living and tried tiptoeing through life;
I’m still holding my breath hoping for my heart to feel alive.
So yesterday I died and lived my silent self;
And today I’m alive as I find my own way without any help.
Introspection is the key to this cage I called me;
So now I open the locked door and let my sacrifices fly free.
