Unleash Her Soul
She whispered in the winter wind
and all the while she did rescind
the promises he'd held her to.
He's turning her world black and blue.
Yet,he had one foot out the door
the day they met,even before
bold circumstance did bring him here.
Now everyday she feels the fear.
She wants him to unleash her soul
and shattered heart so she'll be whole.
He only wants a willing pawn
and when she's broken he'll be gone.
Casting her hopes to the skies
she washes her hands of his lies;
Finds a shelter for all her pain.
He'll not darken her door again.
