When you look at me; what do you see? Is it an apparition of a lonely soul? Or is it really me; the only person you fail to see? When I walk by are you looking at me or through me? Don’t you see me? Can’t you feel me? Do you even hear me? Or maybe my voice is just a soft whisper in the wind A sad song someone sings that doesn’t have an end Will you miss me when I leave? Or is that vision something too trivial to perceive? Did you know my heart beats wild when I think you look my way? You must have felt something cause you always look away Oh to be touched, to be held, to be loved by you Your heart touching mine and my soul renewed A touch of love, a tender kiss Just a moment with you could keep me in a state of endless bliss My heart aches more with the birth of each new day My mind reels with thoughts of today being the day you turn to me and say… Something….Anything…please just make my day I continue to pine for you…but nothing seems to go my way Downing in a sea of hurt and pain; I lie awake looking off into the horizon awaiting the birth of a new day
