Unknown

Dear Father,

I don't Know you but I know you exist
The kind that loves, Does it all for his kids
He carry's it all, On his shoulders he lifts
Me and Life's weight, A beat he does not miss
Despite me not knowing, That special place of a Daddy's girl
I see in other girls, Around the world
I've seen it in dreams, where I've danced and twirled in your imagery
Despite being unknown to me, The idea is quite lovely
Not your princess, Nevertheless
I've searched for my Prince, In your emptiness
Something always missing, Something I could never find
The look of love in my daddy's eyes........

Yours Truly,
Her Daughter
