Unknown
Life hands us lessons
From these we should learn
Unknown and unexpected
Around each and every turn
Good, bad and indifferent
That alone is a surprise
Bringing joy to our hearts
Or tears to our eyes
Life is not always easy
At times completely unfair
We do the best we can
On a wing and a prayer
Celebrate the life you have been blessed with
As it comes and goes so fast
Another unknown and unexpected is
We know not how long it will last!
