Unkind Twist

In the twinkling of an eye A smile it took my soul The world just drifted by As Cupid took control Besotted by her spell And held in constant bliss Oh what story could I tell That first and tender kiss The Gods of love so kind Lips with mine did bless And paradise I did find In her holding tenderness And so with love I danced That warm and wistful day My heart and soul romanced Your scent my sense play But love can be so unkind So fickle with its charms Can prick a tortured mind As you lie another's arms

Hearts can be very fickle, Daniel. You are such a romantic man that I can't imagine someone leaving you to "lie in another's arms." Love, Carolyn
