Universe That Swallows Reason
Long silences drift
Gaping the mind's wheelbarrow
Suddenly the stocks of tomorrow vanished
The bricks laid yesteryear were sagging
In their muddy rut
Up ahead on the corner
Motorola rushes ransack the hospital
Impatience at the check out counter
And an enveloping TV set
Some waiting has yet to be begun
At the bus terminal. busy heads are turning
The self-myself-our property
Is dozing at some Dunkin Dounuts
The JOB, so clearly defined
Is turning eyeballs narrow in their deceit
And childhood senses are porched
Stilted at the school desk desire
