Universal Laws 2
waking from
a dream of
falling
putting my
bare feet
to wood
floors
lightheaded
two stories
up i need to
walk down
stairs but
unlike a giant
step for man
kind i find
i'm outside
grass growing
between my toes
yet no roots
grounding
me i'm a
live wire
aspiring
to jump
trying to
touch the
moon
so i throw
myself up
in the air
flapping
my arms but
even feathers
fall off of
a bird in
flight
landing
on the
earth
and try as i
might i
can
only try
but i
can
not do
what i want
for i must do
what is not
wanted but
that which i
have to
follow for
it's the law
of
