United Strangers

United Strangers
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After many years of loss and pain
I found my beloved mother
Looked in her beautiful face
And saw my smiling eyes
Heard the tales of my toddling stage
Far too many emotions
Which lie dormant below the surface
Of a calmly deceptive cloudy cauldron of grief
Cerebral pressure and raging rivers
Years of invisible tears
Have worn unseen canyons
Into logics place of birth
And come to rest where passions dwell
A heart full of hope yet devoid
The simple spark of joy
After years of anticipating
Finding my beloved mother
United we are
And shall remain nothing more
Than strangers
