Unite and Take Action

Women from every nook and cranny of this great nation,
The time has come for you to take control of every situation.
Hold your heads high and boldly  walk  into your destiny,
You are and forever will be the backbone of our society.

No longer will  you live in doubt as in the past,
You will rise up and free your minds at last.
You will go forward with confidence and pride,
You will speak up and speak out instead of hide.

It is time for you to accept that you are powerful and strong,
Hold your heads high and find ways to right every wrong.
No need for revenge or act crude in any way,
Rise and shine as this is a new day.

For too long you have suffered in silence and robbed of your chances,
Afraid to speak up  and speak out because of your circumstances.
Your voices will  now echo with hope and pride day and night,
As women of every class, colour, creed and nation unite. 

Let us rise up  and fight against violence towards our sisters everywhere,
Let us take a stance that enough is enough and  show them that we truly care.
No longer will our women and children suffer the agony of defeat in our society,
We will rise up to rid this scourge from every community.

Our women and children must be protected against every kind of abuse,
And as we unite  and take charge we will help each other rise and choose.
No more form of crime or victimisation against our women and children of this nation.
Now is the time for us to unite and claim our right to freedom of choice and protection.
