Ungrounded

Alone I wonder about life's great plan, encompassing me and my vision at hand. Drawn are the lines to secure the path, yet fate plays a role at my hearth. Confused, and trying for a meditative state, relaxing is now something that can't wait. As time slows and I take up the pose, I cannot decide where my life truly goes. Try to be still, to envision the way but I cannot shut down, my thoughts they do sway. Relax they say, breathe and be whole, feel the chi unfold, adhere to your soul. The way is not mine as the minutes propose, I cannot be idle, in a stationary pose. As I lift myself up and come forth from the "serene", I take the rake and wipe the sand clean. 25/10/2018

I LOVE your last line... when all else fails. Many can relate to the stressful life where zen-state is out of our reach. Congrats, LT.

That last line was killer. It sewed this piece up nicely. I like how this showed what was expected or suggested but in the end you can only be yourself and none of that was you. Really nice.
