Unfinished

Another sunset slipped away.
Another full moon missed.
Another fair maid perished young,
before she was held and kissed.

Another book, unfinished.
Another poem, lost.
A lonely "I", undotted.
A forlorn "T", uncrossed.

Another bridge of dreams,
built o'er the sea of time.
Another thrice-doomed melody.
One more imperfect rhyme.

Ahhh!! I like the rhythm, rhyme and flow of this one. The theme or subject matter is so true. I wonder how many people had at least one poem or story in them that needed to be written but it did not happen. Thanks for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page with congrats. Sara K

WOW...So much said in so few words etched with the blood red sting of life's too quickly passing. A FAVE from me
